Inventing Healthier.

THE EXPRESS SCRIPTS LAB

Bringing The Lab to life.

Where do you start when you’re reimagining the main client showpiece of a Fortune 15 company?

You take it down to the studs.

As creative lead for The Lab rebranding, I worked with marketing and client partners to create a cohesive visitor experience and launch event. This included a full marketing journey, interior design direction, experiential marketing, taglines, videos, art installations, a welcome event, follow-up campaigns and everything in between. The Lab continues to successfully convert potential clients and retain existing clients as the hub for highlighting our healthcare innovation and experience.

Creative collaboration from groundbreaking to grand opening.

From the beginning of this multi-million dollar renovation, our team was involved. As creative lead for the project, I worked to concept and execute both interior and exterior components of The Lab.

This included planning the visitor experience and the content that each stop would present. I collaborated closely with Marketing, internal client teams, architectural and digital vendors and senior leadership to make this experience unlike anything else in our industry.

Our Inventing Healthier wall broke up our tagline depending on the perspective of the visitor, only coming together when you looked straight on. This underscored our message of looking at health from every angle.

We weren’t just building an area that was visually stunning, but one that brought data to life in a compelling way. I partnered daily with our data science team to help them highlight the right actionable insights and create the most impact for our visitors.

Part of this experience was mapping out how we wanted our visitors to feel. To plot out the emotional journey as well as the physical one, I developed the impact map above to make sure we were hitting all the right notes.

In addition to creating the physical space, a variety of supporting materials including flyers, postcards and targeted social media and email campaigns were developed.
