Pandemic meets parenthood. Now what?
Covid-19 had a serious impact on all of our lives. But what did it mean for hopeful parents wanting to grow their families in the face of a worldwide crisis? For this long-form report I partnered with our research team to outline what the data showed, and what it meant for the health plans and employers trying to deliver personalized benefits during unprecedented times.
Simplifying the science.
Doctors, data scientists and more were involved in collecting the insights for this in-depth report. My job was to make it easy to understand and compelling to read. Working with our research and clinical teams, I was tasked with learning every detail about the topic so I could work with our design team to make it easy-to-scan, simple to understand and visually compelling for any audience.
Words matter.
When you’re dealing with data, friendly, approachable data still has to be clinically accurate. I worked with our parent and guardians Employee Resource Group to have a complete understanding of how to address these topics and the right language to describe our community of hopeful parents.
